Understanding the Grillz Process

Custom grillz are the ultimate statement of individuality. Because every piece is custom-made to fit your exact dental structure, the process requires precision from start to finish.

Here is a breakdown of how the process works, from placing your order to the final mirror-polish shine.

 

1.Select Your Spec:Step 1.

Choose your design, layout (top, bottom, or full set), and your metal of choice. We work with everything from 10K gold (highly durable for daily wear) to 14K and 18K gold for a richer color, as well as optional diamond cuts or dust finishes. Once your order is locked in, we prep your kit.
2.Take Your Impression:Step 2.

We ship a custom Impression Kit directly to your door. It includes medical-grade dental putty (catalyst and base) and sizing trays. You mix the putty, place it in the tray, and bite down firmly for 3 minutes to capture a flawless mold of your teeth.
3.Send It Back to the Studio:Step 3.

Once your mold is dry and hardened, place it back in the provided shipping box, apply the prepaid return label, and send it back to our production studio. Note: The fit of your final piece depends entirely on the accuracy of this mold.
4.Casting & Hand-Finishing:Step 4.

Once your mold passes inspection, our master jewelers pour a stone replica of your teeth. We then hand-carve the wax model, cast it in solid precious metal, and execute the final details—like deep-cut permeations to give individual caps a realistic look.
5.The Final Shine & Delivery:Step 5.

Your piece goes through a multi-stage high-polish process to give it a mirror-like luster. It is then sanitized, securely packed in a custom presentation case, and shipped back to you with tracked, insured shipping.

 

Essential Aftercare for Your Piece

To maintain the finish and protect your investment, keep these golden rules in mind:

  • No Smoking or Eating: Never eat, drink anything other than water, or smoke while wearing your grillz. Food particles and chemicals can tarnish the metal and trap bacteria.

  • Clean After Use: Wash your grillz with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive dish soap after every wear. Gently wipe it down with a soft microfiber cloth.

  • Skip the Toothpaste: Regular toothpaste is too abrasive for high-polished gold and can cause microscopic scratches over time, dulling the shine.

  • Storage Is Key: Always store your piece completely dry inside its protective case to prevent oxidation or accidental damage.
